Photographs & Information Sort on the 'Cedars' Broad Street, Enderby - 7/11/01 I live at 16 Broad St opposite the Cedars. My house was built for the manager of the Coop in the late twenties reputedly on the ground that was the garden of the Cedars. My question is does anybody have any information or photo's of the garden before and after the house was built. There was supposed to have been statues on pillars all around the garden ? Any one with photographs or information regarding the above is
asked to contact Ivan Welch at ivan.welch@which.net Photograph & Information Required on Rudloe House Enderby - 22/5/01 Following the visit to the village of Enderby by King Khama of Botswana at the end of the 19th century, 2 houses were built to celebrate this prestigious event - Rudloe House and Serowe House, both on Blaby Rd, Enderby. I would dearly love to find a picture of Rudloe House when it was built circa 1900 and occupied by Henry Biggs, Choirmaster and one of the first Parish Councillors of the village. His wife's maiden name was Mary Annie Gilliver so if there are any Biggs/Gilliver descendants out there, I would very much welcome your help. Any one with photographs or information regarding the above is
